PUBLIC NOTICE: COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

The City of McLendon-Chisholm Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive input on the proposed Comprehensive Plan Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 7 pm and will consider a recommendation for adoption of the Comprehensive Plan on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 7 p.m.  Additionally, the McLendon-Chisholm City Council will hold a public hearing to receive public input on the Comprehensive Plan Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 6:30 pm and will consider adoption of the Comprehensive Plan on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 6:30 pm.

All meetings will be held at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall located at 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032. The proposed Comprehensive Plan will be available for viewing online prior to the meetings and copies will be available at City Hall or by contacting the City Secretary at 972-524-2077 or CitySecretary@mclendon-chisholm.com.

PUBLIC HEARING: Notice of Tax Rate Increase

This notice only applies only to a taxing unit other than a special taxing unit or municipality with a population of less than 30,000 regardless of whether it is a special taxing unit.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Hearing on Budget for Fiscal Year 2021-2022

Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the City of McLendon-Chisholm City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032 to receive public input regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget.

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $414,632 which is a 59% percent increase from last year’s budget and of that amount $91,741 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

The proposed budget is available for public inspection at City Hall and on the City’s website at www.mclendon-chisholm.com.

PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning change at intersection of Pullen Rd. and Sinks Rd.

Notice of Public Hearings before the McLendon-Chisholm Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council

Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm will meet and hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February  8,  2021, at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032. Further the City Council of the City of McLendon-Chisholm will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032.

At such times and place, the Commission and Council will consider the application of Ryan Joyce, requesting annexation for that portion of the subject property that is outside the city limits; amendment to the comprehensive plan, future land use map; and consideration of a planned development district to establish zoning for one acre lots on the annexed and existing land. The property is generally located at the intersection of Pullen Road and Sinks Road, McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032.
