Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the City of McLendon-Chisholm City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at McLendon-Chisholm, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032 to receive public input regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget.

This budget will not raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget.

The proposed budget is available for public inspection at City Hall and on the City’s website at www.mclendonchisholm.com.

All interested persons will be given an opportunity to appear and be heard. If you are unable to attend, you may submit comments by mail to the City Secretary, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032 or email citysecretary@mclendon-chisholm.com.

 

August 15, 2022 – Conduct a public hearing on Thursday, August 18, 2022, to hear public comments regarding a request for a specific use permit for the sale of on-premise consumption of beer and wine coincident with the sale of said beer and wine from the adjacent grocery store on 7.6. acres of land located southeast of the intersection of FM 550 and SH 205, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of McLendon-Chisholm will meet and hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032. In addition, the City Council will meet and hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. At such times and place, the Commission and City Council will consider the application of Steven Smith on behalf of Watson Way Estates requesting a change in zoning from “SF 2.5” Single Family 2.5 to “PD” Planned Development District for the development of a 10 single-family residential subdivision with minimum one and one-half acre lots on 27 acres of land currently zoned 2.5 which requires a minimum lot size of two and one-half acres of land.
