Hailstorm Safety
Hail is raindrops that fall through cold air and freeze, clumping together. Hail does over $1 billion in damages every year.
Hailstorm Safety Tips
Move cars, boats, RV’s, or anything you want protected in to a covered area.
Seek shelter. Hail of any size can be dangerous, especially in high winds.
Surfaces may be slick, so use caution.
When driving, try and find a safe place to pull over under cover. If no cover, turn your car so the hail is hitting the windshield. The safety glass will protect you, and the hail could break the glass in the other windows.
