Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm will meet and hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022, at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, 1371 W. FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, TX 75032. In addition, the City Council will meet and hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. At such times and place, the Commission and City Council will consider the application of Steven Smith on behalf of Watson Way Estates requesting a change in zoning from “SF 2.5” Single Family 2.5 to “PD” Planned Development District for the development of a 10 single-family residential subdivision with minimum one and one-half acre lots on 27 acres of land currently zoned 2.5 which requires a minimum lot size of two and one-half acres of land. The property location is adjacent to the intersection of FM 550 and FM 1139 on the southeast side of the intersection. The property is described as county parcel ID numbers 10783, 45857, and 10782. Zoning of the subject property will amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of McLendon-Chisholm. Citizens are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings.
