PUBLIC HEARING: PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE GB TO PD AT SH 205 AND FM 550

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider a request to rezone the subject property from General Business (GB) to a Planned Development District (PD), to be known as “Tractor Supply Company,” with specific development standards and permitted uses. The proposed Planned Development will have a base zoning district of General Business (GB) and will be subject to the State Highway 205 Overlay District, as amended and modified herein, in accordance with the City’s Code of Ordinances.

The subject property is a portion of an 11.296-acre tract situated in the Leonard Eastwood Survey, Abstract No. 79, City of McLendon-Chisholm, Rockwall County, Texas, and is generally located at the northwest corner of State Highway 205 and FM 550 (Rockwall Property ID: 60943).

A public hearing will be held by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, located at 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032, for all persons interested in the above request.

Following the Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing, the City Council of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider the request on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, located at 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032.
