A feasibility study is being conducted for the approximately 14.4-mile, new location roadway from FM 2755 to SH 205 in Rockwall County, Texas. The study evaluated alternatives within or near the cities of Fate, Royse City, McLendon-Chisholm, and Rockwall through Rockwall County. The purpose of the meeting is to present the project alternative recommended for further study and receive public feedback. The ultimate proposed project configuration would consist of four lanes of frontage roads (two in each direction), four general purpose lanes (two in each direction), and two shared-use bicycle/pedestrian paths (one in each direction) within 500 feet of right-of-way. The project would be constructed in phases contingent on traffic volumes and available funding.
The in-person and virtual public meeting option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the in-person or virtual public meeting, please contact Matt Craig, P.E., at (214) 346-6200 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Monday, November 6, 2023.
