TRASH & RECYCLING ACCOUNT
If you do not have an active CWD account, or you have an account with a past-due balance, you will be notified via a yellow hanger on your cart. To check the status of your account, or to set up a new account, please contact CWD Customer Service at 972.392.9300/Option 2 or via email at customerservice@cwd.to.
Note: If no account exists at your address, or the account is past due, the trash and recycling carts will be removed until an account is set up/paid up.

COLLECTION TIMES
Trash and recycling will be collected once a week, on THURSDAY. Place all items out no later than 7:00 am on Thursday for service between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Please ensure the trash cart and the recycle cart are three (3) feet away from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters, and drainage ditches.
Position the carts with the wheels toward the street.
All TRASH must be placed in bags inside the GREY 95-gallon trash cart. All RECYCLABLES must be placed inside the BLUE 95-gallon recycle cart.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
CWD observes two holidays a year:
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

BILLING
CWD bills customers quarterly.

Mail
Send your payment to CWD in the envelope provided to you in your quarterly bill.
Online
Select “Pay My Bill” from the CWD website main menu and follow the instructions on the Pay My Bill page.
In Person
Want to hand deliver your payment? Bring it, along with your payment coupon, to the CWD Administration Building at 2010 California Crossing Road, Dallas, TX 75220.
Bulky Waste & Brush Collection
Bulky waste and brush will be collected weekly, on your regular trash service day. You are limited to one (1) cubic yard of bulky waste and loose brush per collection. Tied and bundled brush may be set out in unlimited quantities. Note 1 cubic yard is the equivalent to the size of a washing machine.
Place all bulky waste and brush items next to your trash receptacle no later than 7:00 a.m. on your designated trash pickup days.

- Toys and Yard Tools Tagged as “Bulk Item”
- Furniture
- Bundled Carpet in 4-foot Lengths
- Fence Panels No Larger than 4’x6’
- Washing Machines, Dryers, Water Heaters and Kitchen Appliances
- Refrigerators/Freezers – Must be tagged certifying removal of refrigerants
BULKY WASTE NOT ACCEPTED
- Commercial Construction and Remodeling Debris
- Household Hazardous Waste
- Tires, Batteries, and Propane Tanks
- Loose Debris – Debris must be placed in a box or other disposable container no larger than 2’x2’x4’ and weighing no more than 50 pounds.
- Additional Trash Bags
BRUSH
Tree limbs must be placed with trunks parallel to the street without obstructing the sidewalk. Individual items or bundles must weigh less than 50 lbs., and be no longer than four (4) feet.
