PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE SF 2.5 TO GB AT NE CORNER SH 205 AND FM 550

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider a request to rezone the subject property from Single Family Residential (SF 2.5) to General Business (GB), as defined in the City’s Code of Ordinances.

The subject property is approximately 9.17 acres situated in A0133 K Latham, City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, and is generally located at the northeast corner of State Highway 205 and FM 550 (Rockwall County Property IDs: 108612, 11443, 11446, and 83468).

A public hearing will be held by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, located at 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032, for all persons interested in the proposed rezoning request.

Following the Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing, the City Council of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider the request on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at McLendon-Chisholm City Hall, located at 1371 West FM 550, McLendon-Chisholm, Texas 75032.
