The following ordinance was passed by the city council of the city of Mclendon-Chisholm on sept 15, 2026; an Ordinance of the City of Mclendon-Chisholm, Texas, amending Chapter 12 “Traffic and Vehicles,” Article 12.01 “General Provisions” of the Code of Ordinances by adding section 12.01.007 “restrictions on commercial vehicles and designation of truck routes”; prohibiting commercial vehicles from utilizing certain streets and roads within the city limits; designating authorized truck routes; providing exceptions; providing for road use agreements; providing for enforcement and penalties; providing for liability for damage; providing a severability clause; providing a repealer clause; and providing an effective date.
