Join this fun event for a chance to see your creativity hanging on the wall at City Hall, plus a cash prize.
WHO
All city of McLendon-Chisholm residents are encouraged and eligible to participate. The age groups included are:
- 12 years to 18 years old.
- 19 years to 35 years old.
- 36 years to 65 years old.
- over 65.
WHAT
A city-wide photo contest – residents are encouraged to submit one (1) 8X10 photo (in a cardboard frame), Black and White or Color photos. No computer generation is allowed. Photos must be taken from a phone camera or a regular camera. Only one photo is allowed per person.

WHEN
The contest will be open for residents-only to submit photos from July 12 – August 11, 2023.
WHY
To provide community esprit de corps and a fun and enjoyable community event. This event is intended to create more community unity.
WINNERS
Apanel of judges will select the top two winners in each age group category (4 categories X 2 winners each = 8 winners – 1st and 2nd place). 1st place in each category will get $150 and must allow the city of McLendon Chisholm to professionally frame the photo and display the photo in City Hall for up to one year. Afterward, the framed photo will be returned to the winning photographer. 2nd place will receive $75. All winners will be recognized and receive their awards at a City Council meeting.
