A wonderful new addition to the McLendon-Chisholm community is Rosini Vineyards, located on 25 acres at 411 State Highway 205 within the city limits.
If you have not made a visit to this beautiful venue yet, you need to do so,” said Mayor Keith Short. “Local residents and owners Greg and Carol Rosini have invested in their passion, and this love an commitment to quality and excellence shows.”
In fact, the Rosini’s have already won a silver medal for their Blanc du Bois dry and Cabernet Sauvignon in The Lone Star International Wine Competition. The Rosini’s one-of-a-kind wines are made from grapes grown on the property’s vineyard, as well as from the high plains, east Texas and central Texas.
There is a tasting room and barrel room for sampling the Rosini Vineyards blends, with a menu that includes a variety of flatbreads, paninis, and small bites. Reservations are not required, but recommended for groups of six or more.
The property is also available for private events, and includes a four-bedroom, five-bath Ranch house with a pool that can be reserved via VRBO.
